We’re Brand New!

I’m the person who usually only tolerates change—through gritted teeth and skeptical, narrowed eyes. I am truly and thoroughly conservative, I’m afraid! While Craig has often courted and welcomed all things new (he appears to thrive on it, to great frustration), I’ve often been passive aggressive. Pouty. And rather vocal in my complaints. Whining, actually. Pathetic, eh?

But this change…well, this change is wonderful: A new website that’s fresh and light and like taking in a deep breath of salty sea air on the beach! Can you hear the seagulls calling and complaining? Feel the regular pounding of the waves on the sand? Catch the sparkle of the swells reflecting the sun? Like a refreshing day at the beach, I hope my website will nourish your souls, feed the hunger that you feel for reflection on God’s Word, and stir up your own creative leanings. Enjoy, please—and let me know what you think. Your feedback (positive or negative) is always appreciated as you view this tool with new eyes.

Lastly, Craig and I are thrilled to share that soon we’ll be launching a newsletter designed for couples. Many of you have heard us teach on marriage, and our personal “lab” has been gathering and studying evidence for over 45 years. Quite frankly, we think the institution of marriage is under attack, and therefore we desire to provide you with support, resources, a safe place for real and vulnerable dialogue to take place, and yes…a space to laugh at ourselves too. Craig’s been wonderfully generous about freely offering up occasions for me to laugh hysterically at him during all our years together. And God forbid I would selfishly keep those stories to myself.

So watch for it…announcement forthcoming…we’re excited! How fun to be brand new!

P.S. Our deep appreciation to Jones House Creative–Matt and Tracy and their team. Love working with them, and didn’t they do a phenomenal job?! Whoo-hoo!
