We need your help. Craig and I would love to write another book on marriage. I even have a title that many of you have already remarked you’d like to read….

Creating and Growing a Real Relationship
But before we can write that book, Craig and I need to establish a significant following of couples who are saying, “Yes, we want to read more like this!” To that end, we’re offering a bi-monthly newsletter on marriage.
What will the newsletters be like? They’ll be sprinkled with plenty of humor. Yet embedded in the laughter will be over 45 years of real-life experiences, successes and failures, transparent illustrations from our marriage. Only God knows how many years we have remaining to minister, so we feel called now to offer these candid lessons learned—and in building a foundation for a future ministry to couples in our retirement years.
Are they for newlyweds and younger couples, those in their middle years, or older marriages like ours? Yes!
You may have read our book Faith Tango: A Liberating Approach to Spiritual Growth in Marriage. We’d like to take its sequel to the next level with topics like:
*communication styles and what they reveal about you—what you’ve brought (unknowingly) into your marriage from your family of origin
*seven different levels of apologies and when to use the appropriate phrase for healing to begin
*the one word men wish would forever remain unspoken: intimacy. Addressed by Craig, speaking “man to man”!
*four more “unmentionables”: in-laws, finances, sex, death
If you’ve heard us teach, then you know Craig & I strive to be real…practical…transparent. We hope to never bore you or waste your time. Our goals are to stimulate relatable experiences, healing, pro-active planning and activities, laughter, and more mercy, grace and love for each other. We plan to challenge you to connect more deeply with your God, your spouse, your community. Our request: Take 15. Is your marriage worth a mere 15 minute investment? And if your interest is piqued to keep communicating with each other…all the better.
An additional benefit: We’ll offer suggestions for these newsletters to be used by group leaders. Teaching a class on marriage? Guiding a life group of couples? Responsible for an affinity class? Our newsletter and website combo could be just the resource you need.
And lastly—we need your feedback and comments and wisdom/experiences! Please send responses/comments to the newsletter anytime you have something valuable to add, have questions or disagree. Whatever, we’d love to hear from you!

Absorb what you want and/or need, and then, if you think of other family and/or friends who might want to Take Twenty also…pass it along!
