I’m recommending this book to everyone…a must read, as it opened my eyes to the Muslim world and the possibilities of God’s light reaching into that darkness. Kate McCord–a pseudonym for her protection–lived in Afghanistan for 5 years. Her incredible love for God and the unsaved demonstrate true courage in action: she lived in constant danger as a single woman, making friends, sharing the Word, re-telling timeless parables in ways that truly communicated God’s character and the basic tenents of our faith. I have so much admiration for her great faith…and for this awe-inspiring book. Read it!
